Spring season trials have finally been organised! These trials are for new players entering the club and existing players returning to the club that are NOT currently playing in Autumn season 2010. Current players will trial at a later date.

When: Wednesday 2nd June, 2010
Time: 6pm-9pm - Please arrive 20 minutes prior for registration. Trials
will begin at 6pm SHARP.
Where: Sports Centre - Tin Alley, Melbourne Uni

Please bring along $50 for registration. This registration fee guarantees you a position in one of our Spring season teams and will be used for your VNA membership registration. This season, players paid around $300 including VNA membership. Since Spring season is shorter, it is likely this figure will be smaller. Please note, the registration fee is non-refundable.

Spring season competition begins in August. MUNC plans to enter several teams across 4 grades in the Parkville Netball Competition. Matches are played at the State Netball and Hockey Centre at any time between 6:30pm and 11pm. Training sessions are held once a week for 2 hours at Melbourne Uni Sports Centre and provide players with specialised coaching.

Please be aware of the match and training days that you may potentially be committing to. All players are expected to attend games and training sessions EVERY week and display a high level of commitment towards their team.

This commitment begins at trials.

Girls who are intending to play next season but are injured at the time of trials are still expected to attend with a medical certificate. We understand that trials have been scheduled during swotvac. We advise those who are study conscious that there will be time when you are on the sidelines waiting to play. Please feel free to bring along lecture notes to summarise, paper to plan your essays or question sheets to practice on.

If you are interested in playing for the club and will be attending trials, send me a reply email by Monday 31st May by 5pm. In your email, please include your name, playing positions and a brief description of your playing history. Please also say if you'd only like to specifically trial for a particular grade due to commitment days.
