August Edition Hi Everyone, Welcome Back to Spring Season 08! Hopefully everyone is starting to settle into their teams and have enjoyed the first four weeks. The season started off with the MUNC & MURC Black, White and Blue Ball. Everyone who joined us at Rydges Hotel on the 30th of August appeared to have a very enjoyable night (some more than others). We hope to hold a similar event next year in collaboration with the MURC boys. A big thank-you needs to go out to our fabulous Social Secretary Amy for all her hard work, as well as Dan Kelly and the MURC for their effort in organising the ball. The MURC are holding their Presentation Dinner this Saturday the 20th of September. If you would like to join the Rugby boys and re-live the magic of the ball, the MUNC girls are more than welcome to join the boys. The mixed teams that were new for this season, have begun playing, and although it has proven to be more challenging than originally thought, all 3 teams are having a lot of fun on the court. We hope you all enjoyed the break between seasons, and we look forward to seeing how all teams progress over the coming weeks. Best of luck for the season! Your exec President UpdateDresses: If you have a friend that no longer plays for the club that would like to sell their dress, please tell them that this season is their last chance, as the club is getting new uniforms next season. Please get them to contact Lisanne on 0431 11 00 11.Chocolate: In order to reduce the costs of fees and new uniforms next season, the club is holding a chocolate drive. There will be uniform prizes for the most boxes of chocolates sold, so keep an eye out for more information about the drive coming soon.Uni Games: Best of luck to all our representatives for the Melbourne ’08 Uni games. Secretary Update All new players must fill out a MUSA membership form which can be found through the clubfit article on our website. Please fill one out and return it to your coach. It is extremely important that these get back to us soon. If you do not have one of these forms filled out and returned then you are not covered for insurance by MUSA and we may lose court time next season. Treasurers Update All fees should be paid by now, unless other arrangements have been made. Please remember if you are having difficulty paying your fees you should email Arani at
