Netball trials Melbourne University Netball Club trials for the spring season (August-December) will be held on Thursday July 30th at the Sports Centre, Tin Alley. Trials for new players will commence at 6pm, and players should be prepared for the possibility of staying until 9.30. The trials schedule is as follows: 6pm C grade and ALL new players 7pm B grade 7.30 A grade 8pm Prem Existing players please attend the timeslot for the grade you played in last season. Players may be asked to stay beyond their timeslot to trial for a higher grade. New players are most welcome. Please email Sarah Ellis (

Parkville is holding some umpiring workshops during June and July for anyone interested.
Introduction to Umpiring Workshop:
Monday 6th July 09 - 10:00 - 12:00pm @ SNHC, COST $20.00
Level 1 Umpires Course:
Tuesday 7th July 09 - 10:00 - 2:00pm @ SNHC, COST $50.00
Bring: Whistle, Pen, Lunch and drink. Suitable clothing for practical session.

If anyone is interested in coaching or improving their coaching skills, Parkville will be hosting the following coaching courses at the SNHC during 2009.
FOUNDATION COACHING COURSE

DEVELOPMENT COACHING COURSE
Aimed at those who are already coaching a team, and want to improve. Equivalent to old Level 1 course.
